Broadcasters Mentoring Group (BMG)

Today’s broadcasters developing tomorrow’s talent

The Broadcasters Mentoring Group is a mentor-apprentice centered broadcast training company with a simple (but not easy) mission:

“To prepare and equip aspiring broadcasters for success.”

We prepare and equip students for broadcasting success through a two-step process.

1. Develop essential broadcasting skills required of working broadcasters within each student. This is done by our proprietary training materials developed by on-air broadcasters for aspiring on-air broadcasters.

2. Ensure that each student is able to develop a network of influential industry contacts.
BMG Founder

Michael Madden

Located in Calabasas, CA, BMG was founded in 2004 by former business, medical, and sports talk show host, Michael Madden.

Once established, BMG queried scores of program directors nationwide to determine what broadcasting skills were required of each applicant before seriously considering them for hire. From there, we commissioned professional broadcasters to develop training modules that convey these essential on air components.

Because of BMG’s unique mentor apprentice training model, we’re able to offer one-on-one broadcast training worldwide to anyone within acceptable distance of a radio station. If your passion is to become a music DJ, talk show host, sportscaster, or newscaster, BMG has a training program for you.

BMG students range from high school to retirement age, and everything in between. Many of those same students have referred to BMG as “an advanced graduate school level broadcasting school” that served as their bridge into the real world of radio broadcasting.

That bridge also leads to real contacts, real job opportunities, and real advantages when starting their broadcasting career on the inside.
